On Sunday 17th August 2025, GB10 became the heart of our community as players, families and coaches came together for our Academy Signing Day. It was a day built around pride, connection and the excitement of what lies ahead for the 2025–26 season.

Across the afternoon, every player had their moment. From individual signing photos to family portraits, sibling shots, friendship groups and full team line-ups, the atmosphere was a brilliant mix of nerves, laughter and pure Borough energy. With photographers stationed throughout the venue and kit samples on display, it was the perfect chance for parents and players to get a first look at the season ahead.

Both bars were open from midday, food was served throughout, and the pitches stayed busy as players drifted between photos, small-sided games and spending time with teammates old and new. Dozens of our coaches also dropped in for updated headshots, adding to the sense of a club-wide occasion.

Signing Day wasn’t just about the photos. It was about recognising every player who commits their time, effort and passion to Greenwich Borough. It was about welcoming new faces, celebrating returning ones and marking the start of another chapter for our Academy.
